VIRTUAL TOUR OF THE
the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's
B-25J INSTRUMENT PANELS
As we proceed, you'll see that the restoration of Briefing Time's cockpit remains true to the philosophy of historic authenticity behind all of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's aircraft. Despite the fact that this plane is no "hangar queen", flying many hundreds of miles every year, you won't find any modern glass panels, GPS receivers, or horizontal situation indicators marring the vintage look of the panel. The modern radio stack and other instruments required to fly in today's ATC environment have been discreetly mounted so as not to change the essential character of the panel.
