Erich Berner has created a masterpiece remembering the Skytrains and Dakotas that participated in the invasion of Normandy.  It evokes historic footage in black and white as four C-47's fly in formation from England to France, dropping paratroopers over the continent, then closes with color shots of the Douglas ships in an airshow fly-by.   The formation flying for the video was done on-line by Erich and MAAM-SIM Team members Mark Beaumont, Ian Pearson, and Steve Comer.

MAAM-SIM team leader Bill Rambow produced this, his first FS video.   For some time Bill has wanted to celebrate the talent and labor of the freeware repainters of the team's award-winning B-25J Mitchell 'Briefing Time' simulation for FS2004 and FS2002.   He even had a particular piece of music in mind for the score; Benny Goodman's swinging instrumental "Sing, Sing, Sing".  The video "sings the praises" of Stephan Demmelmeier and  the other talented texture artists who have provided 31 skins depicting numerous USAAF squadrons, the USMC, RAF, and RCAF.
