NEW MAAM-SIM VIDEO SALUTES THE 'BRIEFING TIME' REPAINTERS

Bill Rambow of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations team has produced and uploaded his first flight-sim video.  For some time Bill has wanted to celebrate the talent and labor of the freeware repainters of the team's award-winning B-25J Mitchell 'Briefing Time' simulation for FS2004 and FS2002.  He even had a particular piece of music in mind for the score; Benny Goodman's swinging instrumental "Sing, Sing, Sing".

Bill's video "sings the praises" of Stephan "Rattle" Demmelmeier and the other talented texture artists who have provided 31 skins depicting numerous USAAF squadrons, the USMC, RAF, and RCAF...

These textures supplement Jan Visser's three original liveries, included on the 'Briefing Time' CD...

All of the free B-25 skins can be downloaded at the MAAM-SIM "FREE STUFF" Enhancements Page, and you can purchase the B-25J Mitchell 'Briefing Time' CD from the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum for $29.95, including world-wide shipping.  All proceeds go directly to support the museum's restoration programs.

Bill is now working on another video to showcase the repaints of MAAM-SIM's Douglas R4D / DC-3 / C-47 package.  That one will have to be set to a longer piece of music, though, since there are currently 84 repaints and 9 original MAAM-SIM liveries available for the Douglas!

You can see this and other demo videos of MAAM-SIM products by several volunteer videographers at the team's Demo Video Page.

To watch the 5:20 minute, wmv format video, "Sing, SIng, Sing", click here and turn up the volume.  If it does not get your foot tapping, better check your pulse!  The file size is 10.5 MB.
