DESCRIPTION:

MAAM-SIM Grumman/Eastern Aircraft TBF/TBM Avenger for FS2004. Add-on aircraft and scenery package for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004-Century of Flight.

NOTE: This version is not tested with or sold for use in Flight Simulator X. (Later, folks!)

INCLUDED AIRCRAFT:

There are five distinctly different aircraft models, in sixteen different liveries, from three nations. The different models vary in engine, flight dynamics, physical features, armament, instrument panels, virtual cockpits, etc.

"Extreme Photo-Realism", digital photographic textures used in every gauge, panel, interior and exterior texture, is a technique we pioneered in FS with the release of the B-25J 'Briefing Time' at MAAM's 12th Annual World War II Weekend.

It requires literally thousands of photographs, so it really helps to own the aircraft! You will see this technique refined even further in our depiction of MAAM's TBM-3 #4 "Old Tanker 9"

Other Avengers in the package feature a combination of photo-real and "hand-drawn" textures by some of the best graphic artists in the FS business.

Digital stereo sounds were recorded from MAAM's TBM, in flight and on the ground.

The G-max designed Aircraft Carrier scenery, USS Langley, (CVL-27), a small carrier of the "Independence" class. This ship was the wartime base of the plane depicted by MAAM's TBM-3.

By the kind permission of the authors, the Langley comes equipped with the Carrier Operations Package by Rob Barendregt and Doug Dawson and the FSUIPC.dll needed to run it. These programs are already fully installed and configured for all the Avengers in this package as well as the ship.

NOTE: There are three installation options that will accommodate buyers who already have these third-party programs installed in FS9. We won't mess up your system!

Several Start-Up flights - "cold and dark" start-ups on land and aboard ship - ready to takeoff - final approach to KRDG and the Langley - on the catapult, and more.

Five Avenger FS9 Splash Screens you can install if you choose (not auto-installed against your wishes).
