Robin Hood Toby Mug #16451

This toby jug is an exact replica of the original movie prop used in Twentieth Century Fox's 1949 hit "Twelve O'clock High", starring Gregory Peck and Dean Jagger.

In the film, the Robin Hood Toby mug resides on the Officer's Club mantle. It is turned toward the wall to signify a mission the following day.

The real movie prop mug, which was the prized possession of the Frank Armstrong family, fell victim to theft in the early 90s and has not been seen since.

A replica, like this one, is in use by the Officer's club at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, home of the 509th Bomb Wing (B-2 Spirit stealth bombers).
