 There are several places to sit in the B-24. They include the bomb bay, radio operator’s area and the waist gunner’s area. There are no reserved seats on the B-24. This is because as soon as the aircraft is airborne you can get up and move throughout the aircraft… from the cockpit to the tail gunner’s position. You will be able to stand behind the pilots and see the controls and instruments. From there you can move back through the bomb bay and see replicas of the 500 lbs. bombs used throughout the war. Next you will stand in the open waist gunner’s position behind a 50 caliber machine gun and imagine the freezing air pouring in as the Messerschmitts bear down with guns ablaze. Furthest back is the tail gunner’s position with a panoramic view.

• Rides are available by advance reservation, only, from the Commemorative Air Force.
   

• "Ole' 927" flies at an altitude of less than 10,000 feet and has an open-air, unpressurized cabin that holds ten passengers, four in front, and six in the rear.  Her flight crew consists of four experienced, highly trained pilots, engineers and scanners.
   

• Passengers must check in with a photo ID at the Commemorative Air Force desk at least one hour prior to their scheduled flight time.
   

• Payment is due at time of the flight by cash, credit card, or traveler's checks.
   

• Cameras are the only baggage allowed on flights.
   

• Passengers must be at least 13 years of age.  See the CAF website for special conditions applying to minor children flying accompanied or unaccompanied.  You can download the necessary form required for minors here.
   

• Any ride cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled at the discretion of the flight crew, if time permits.
